Update

The Fall course 619 is coming to an end this week. I've updated the following:

1. Google site
2. Academic site, www.grammarwand.com. I have most of the text content done for "parts of speech" and "teaching 9th grade english" sections. the other sections remain and auxiliary aids for each sections (graphics, lessons, etc.) are yet to be done.

Wiki

The purpose of wikis is for multiple end-users to input, edit and collaborate on a semi-bulletin like technology, which is the wiki itself. A wiki's primary mechanism is called a space, which is like a room in a house where you can lock the door and let certain people in. In that room or space is where notes, updates, etc. are communicated.

Academic Website

I'm working on the content for my academic website, Grammar 101 (url, www.grammarwand.com, which is not launched yet).

I went to a couple of local high schools near my work at lunch to speak w/ a couple of 9th Grade English teachers to ask them a few questions about their instructions methods, particularly on teaching grammar. I ended up getting email addresses. I have not received a response yet! I will, however, be persistent and/or find other teachers.

Doesn't really matter because I know the California Content Standards for English Language Arts for 9th and 10th grades and I am coming up with my own stuff anyway!

Thoughts for Matty

Hey partner!

I noticed when I clicked on results for your survey that it told me I have "no permission" to view this. Perhaps go back in and make sure to share that link for a "public" or "all can view" setting. Let me know if you need help doing this....I can show you.

Results for survey

Hi Mittens!

Your "get to know you" survey is great! Norm said to also post the results--don't forget to do this! Do you remember how? Let me know....I can help if not.

When you get the chance, take a look at my site. Where should I put the survey? I have it on the main page right now but it seems weird there. I was thinking about doing a survey page...what do you think of this?
